The doors of Naveekarana have opened. Yesterday — Sunday, 24 May 2026 — the temple stepped into the 11-day Tantric re-consecration that culminates in the Pratishta of Lord Ayyappa.

Day 1 — what unfolded

Day 1 began at 5:30 PM with the Temple Opening, followed by Deeparaadhana. As evening deepened, the Acharya was formally invited through Acharyavaranam. Sacred seeds were planted in the Palikas through Molayidal · Anguraaropanam, and the Sreekovil itself was purified through Vaasthu Homam · Vaasthu Bali. The day closed with the Athazha Pooja under the Tantri’s hand.
