|| Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa ||
Dear devotees,
The doors of Sree Ayyappa Temple, Yeshwanthpur open to you in a season of profound spiritual significance. A temple in the Parashurama Kshetra tradition, built through 28 years of selfless Shrama, now stands ready to receive a renewed flow of divine grace through the Naveekarana Kalasam — an 11-day Tantric re-energising of the deity, culminating in the Pratishta of Sree Ayyappa Swami on Sunday, 31 May 2026, at 7:30 – 8:30 AM, under the auspicious Anizham Nakshatram.
What began as a humble aspiration of our community has evolved, year after year, into a magnificent spiritual sanctuary — built upon the timeless science of Vastu-Shilpa and the Tantric tradition of worship.
Why we call this a Yagnam
The construction of a temple, in the language of our shastras, is not merely a building project. It is a Yajna — an act of sustained spiritual labour offered up as devotion. Every brick, every silver coin, every grain of rice in the Annadanam belongs to that fire of devotion.
The Vamana Purana speaks plainly of what this means:
“By initiating the construction of a temple for the Lord, the sins of seven births are cleansed.”
Where you can serve
In the days ahead, we invite you to take part — through Sankalpa (pure intention) and Seva (selfless service) — in any of the following ways:
- Sacred offerings towards the daily rituals and ongoing architecture
- In-kind materials — bricks, sand, steel, cement, teakwood, copper
- Offering of metals — gold, silver, bronze for the upcoming Panchaloha Vigraha of Lord Maha Vishnu, yet to be cast
- Pooja sponsorship for any of the 17 days of Naveekarana + Utsava
