Incoming Chief Officiating Priest
Hon. Brahmasree V.N. Vasudevan Namboothiri — the revered former Melshanti of Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple — has graciously accepted the invitation to serve as the new Melshanti of Sree Ayyappa Temple, Yeshwanthpur.
From Tuesday, 1 July 2026, he will begin guiding the daily worship and sacred rituals at our temple.
A blessing at an auspicious moment
This divine appointment comes at a most auspicious time — right after the sacred Pratishta of Lord Ayyappa on 31 May 2026 and the successful completion of the Naveekarana Kalasam. His profound spiritual experience and divine presence will bring immense grace and strength to our ongoing Kshetra Nirmana Yagnam.
Sabarimala lineage
His service at Sabarimala — one of the most sacred Ayyappa Kshetras — carries the depth of long Tantric and Vedic discipline. The Yeshwanthpur temple, established in the Parashurama Kshetra tradition, receives his lineage with deep gratitude.
